What are maps

Treemaps in AppsFolio can transform raw lists of applications into a visual hierarchy. By using area, color, and nesting, they help you understand at a glance how your software inventory is distributed across different categories, highlight proportions and relationships, and guide you to areas that might warrant attention or expansion within your catalog.

How to make a treemap

• Treemaps require a category and a size
  • Categories can be set to any content type with a metadata type of tree choices or choices
  • Size can be set to any content type with a metadata type of numeric and number of apps is the default
